Sunday 28th June saw the first of many new courses for Floorball here in Perth. 12 local club members attended the first AFA certified LEVEL 1 Referee's course presented by local identity Leith Woods. A great day was had by all with everyone enjoying the course overall. As an AFA representative and recognised International Referee, Leith thanked all those who attended and agreed it was a great turnout & outcome for this inaugural course. And that it was a great pleasure & benefit to start growing the number of people able to gain experience to referee both social & elite level games. Leith also commented that the course can now look to be used around Australia to further increase the number of referees for Floorball. FAWA would like to thank all those who attended this course, and also offer a special thanks to Leith for all her input & effort to put this course together and present to those attendees. Thanks Leith - it was a fantastic day and outcome. Please everyone now mark your calendars for Sunday 20th September as we schedule the second course presentation for LEVEL 1 referees. Further details yet to be advised of location and timing. |
