Please see below some info regarding the upcoming Elite Series Floorball Season. Could all clubs please respond accordingly by the date below.
1. Nominations for club teams need to be in by Friday, September 3rd. FAWA will have an A Division Men's Only competition and a B Division Mixed competition.
2. The starting dates for the Elite Series will be the weekend of October 8th-10th, 2010. Majority of games will run on Sundays at Lords, Subiaco but final fixturing of game locations and days will be dependant on the numbers of teams.
3. There will be a Women's 5 round Series running on Saturday mornings 9am-1pm at Lords from January 8th through to February.
4. At this stage there will be no games December 19th - Saturday 6th Jan, 2011 and none the weekend of January 28th - 30th for APAC.
5. We are keeping a booking at Lords for Sunday, December 12th but are planning a fun day/tournament etc. Anyone with any ideas as to what we could run is welcome to let us know or volunteer to help out.

The FAWA Elite Series 2009/2010 concludes this Sunday 7th March with the Grand Finals of the A Division and the B Division at Lords Sports Centre in Subiaco.
1pm B Division Final - Mod Dogs v Revolution Sharks 3pm A Division Final - Revolution Sharks v PiratesThe Season Wind-up and Presenations will be held on Saturday 13 March, 12pm at the Synergy Parkland, Kings Park. |

Australia has achieved its greatest success in its 10 year World Floorball Championship history by defeating Hungary in the B-Division final and in doing so, clinching the very valuable 8th automatic qualification for WFC2011 in Switzerland. |
